Speaker: Lucile Falgueyrac

I go where curiosity takes me, lately exploring the links between law, technology and activism. I wandered from surveillance hatred to Free Software, from Free Software to international trade law, and from there to the fight for corporate accountability and real democracy.

After a year working with the Free Software Foundation Europe, I turned towards understanding international trade policy. With a transatlantic network of organisations and individuals, we expose the old and new threats contained in secret trade agreements, be it TTIP (the Transpacific Trade and Investment Partnership), CETA (EU-Canada), TISA (Trade in Services Agreement) or others. My focus is on their "Intellectual property" chapters, and on their impact on digital rights and free technology.
