Speaker: Emma Harrison

Emma Harrison is an activist, digital designer and PhD candidate at the University of Sussex Humanities Lab. Her doctoral research explores how collective action can continue to be effective within a culture in which complete surveillance is a reality implied by the technologies we engage with, as well as the ways in which digital environments are impacting upon current forms of consciousness.

Since 2015, she has also been involved in curating the online archive for the AHRC funded ‘You Can’t Move History’ project, alongside the Long Live Southbank campaign, arts collective ‘BrazenBunch’, University of Glasgow, UEA and Newcastle University.
